Solar mc4 connectors with diode are available in 10A, 15A and 20A. Compatible with MC4 photovoltaic fuses. Easy and quick to install, suitable for harsh outdoor environments. Diodes pass current in one direction, so current from the solar panel flows toward the battery (forward bias) and prevents flow from the battery to the solar panel (reverse bias), preventing the solar panel current from flowing backwards and causing a hazard.
