MALAYSIA PENANG 50KW POWER STATION
DATE: July 20, 2023
LOCATION: Penang,Malaysia
NAME:50kW Power Station
INSTALLED QUANTITY: 50kW
01. Description
This project is the first new energy project delivered by MOREDAY in the Malaysian market. Once completed, it will become a typical example of Penang, Malaysia, creating green value through hybrid renewable energy power generation technology and optimizing grid connection. It will provide an opportunity for the group company to actively explore the Southeast Asian market and celebrate China. The 50th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Malaysia and Maldives has made positive contributions to promoting the high-quality development of energy cooperation under the Belt and Road Initiative.
As one of the rooftop photovoltaic projects in Malaysia, the industrial and commercial distributed project has an installed capacity of 50kW and an installation area of 1,200 square meters. It will be connected to the grid at full capacity on July 20, 2023, becoming a characteristic scene of the local factory. The project can generate 100,000 kilowatt-hours of electricity every year and reduce carbon dioxide emissions by about 120 tons. In the 25-year life cycle, the overall power generation of the power station can save the owner 1 million ringgit (approximately RMB 500,000) in electricity bills, and the environmental benefits are equivalent to planting 20,000 trees.

02. solutions & tips
The usable space range of this project is limited, but the installed capacity is large. The technical team introduced a square array design. The largest single square array is up to 1MW. The project has complex terrain, large elevation differences, large slopes and wide distribution. The technical advantages of photovoltaic systems are fully utilized. Conduct simulation analysis to ensure the design is scientific and reasonable.
With abundant sunshine resources, active policy support and innovative practical experience, Malaysia is unleashing the unlimited potential of photovoltaics. The Malaysian Renewable Energy Development Roadmap Document (MyRER) states that by 2025, Malaysia’s renewable energy power generation will account for 31% of total power generation.
MOREDAY’s level of professionalism was incredible to us, and the project was implemented quickly.• Elyas bin Bintang
